CAKE OR CUPCAKES?

“Give me both!” I’d say. I think both alternatives are great. Ultimately, it comes to preference and cost.

With a cake, you have more options for designs, but you can still get creative with the cupcakes.

Some things to consider.

Is it important to you to cut into a cake? (You can still share a cupcake, but you won’t be cutting into it.)

If cost is a factor, what is the difference? (It may all depend on guest count.) With a cake, you can always ask the designer to create layers made of Styrofoam and make a sheet cake for your guest, while still keeping the top layer as an edible part of the design.

Lastly, if you don’t really like cake, you don’t have to have it. The options are endless for you and your groom-to-be to share. There are pies, cookies, donuts, pancakes, cake pops, macarons, beignets, brownies, the possibilities are endless.

If you are having a hard time, think back to what both you and your groom-to-be enjoy together. Maybe you made a memory together sharing beignets for the first time or you both just love brownies. In the end, any option will make a sweet ending.
