“DON’T WAIT FOR INSPIRATION”

Last week I had a snow cone date with my Bff. We caught up on the weeks of life we missed out while away from each other- my philanthropist moments, the letter “P,” all while working TLC lyrics into our conversation.
Ten years ago, we dreamed of a different life.
I remember sitting in a toaster looking, Scion, holding my tears back, counting down the days my best friend will be back.
Ten years later, we’re eating snow cones dreaming of more adventures and business ventures.

FIGHT FOR MOMENTS YOU HAVE NOW

Last Sunday, my sisters decided we would sun bathe in the kiddie pool and eat barbecue. That same weekend, on Friday, my sister and I enjoyed a wild game pretzel hot dog and a beer under string lights. Those days are my reminder to love fiercely, to respond to group messages, to make time together, and to fight for moments we have today.

Because of you, we get to make memories, enjoy the shouting, make claims and accusations on the rules and regulations of a board game. Because of you, I want to love fiercely, make time together, and fight for moments we have today. Thank you. I love you.

DIANA + DAVID

Fifteen years ago, I remember hiding in the dark rows of our middle school auditorium hoping we wouldn’t be called on stage. Most days, Diana , another friend, and I sat out through most the activities. You thought I had bad stage fright now, just imagine a miniature version of me in big dork glasses. Somehow, we got through the terrible dances we were coerced to do.
Fast forward to fifteen years later, Diana, is happier, brighter, and louder.
