Turn Problems Into Flying Doves

More sleep, less sleep, more pizza, less pizza… I’ve run out of ideas. There are moments when I feel like I’m just floating, like a chair in a surreal painting, preferably a Rene Magritte one. I just want to dive into a pillow and close my eyes for a few seconds.
Where do I go from here?
In a week, I’ll be on vacation with my mom and my sister. We’re taking a road trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, and I’m in search of my inspiration. It seems that I’ve hit a dead-end. I imagine a road trip full of gas station food, country music, and some eighties music in there too, with the windows rolled down and the hot, dry, Las Vegas air in my face.
Meanwhile, I’m making lists (sometimes in my sleep)… updating my website, designing Christmas cards, buying gifts for clients, all while trying to figure out my best gambling face.
Here it goes.

As we are getting closer to the end of the year, I feel overwhelmed with goals and the fear of failure. I could have almost assured you that this shoot was going to fail. Because of me of course. The best way for me to deal with feeling awkward is to do something to the power of ridiculous, so when I looked at the back of the camera, I felt reassured that I can be normal.
Cheers to being yourself.
